You might be wondering why I have chosen the name “Absolute Fitness” and not gone with the standard “Josh Henry PT”. That is because I have a vision of building this brand into a national fitness success. I want everybody to know what absolute fitness is and I want to help them achieve absolute fitness.
After gaining some weight after my summer holidays, my goal was to be confident at my 30th birthday party. When starting with Josh I was amazed at how quickly my body was changing, seeing muscle in places I have never seen before! After a lot of hard work I believe we achieved that goal. I love how Josh has shown me a different side to training around strength. He has made me love going to the gym, which is something I never knew was possible!
I first started with Josh during lockdown where I weighed 20st 4lbs. Fast forward 1 year and I am now 17st 1lbs. I have had a few PT's before Josh but none of them motivate, push and support me like he has. Not only has this helped me physically but mentally I feel SO much better with myself and that right there is priceless. Here's to us continuing to achieve Absolute Fitness over the coming months and years!
I began with Josh in April 2022 after never setting foot in a gym in my life. I was a naturally skinny small lad who struggled to put on weight. I have been doing 2 sessions per week with Josh, 2 sessions on my own and then also attending his Sunday Bootcamps. This consistency and structure has helped me develop drastically over the last 7 months. It is now December and I am Leg pressing 350KG. Bench pressing 80KG and somehow I am developing ABS! I've come a long way and I'm excited to go even further.
So we have been training with Josh together for over a year. Initially we were training seperatly but after both attending bootcamp and discovering we have the same kind of goals we decided to team up and have PT sessions together. We love our Monday sessions (unless it's legs!) As we get older were meant to be less mobile, but because of Josh we are becoming fitter and stronger than we have ever been!
